Seeking Applications for the
2024 G.F. Gebhart Journal of Pain Young Investigator Award
 

In 2017, an annual award was created to honor young investigators, The G.F. Gebhart Journal of Pain Young Investigator Award. This award is given on an annual basis, and involves a $1000 travel scholarship to attend the spring USASP Scientific Meeting, which will be held this year April 14-17 in Seattle, WA.

Young Investigator Award criteria:

 * Applicant must be a member of the USASP by February 20, 2024. Information regarding how to apply for membership can be found at https://www.usasp.org/join-or-donate

 * Applicant must be first author on a manuscript in The Journal of Pain that has been published in 2023. Manuscripts in press are not eligible.

 * Applicant must be within five years of receiving their advanced degree (e.g., PhD, MD, DO, DDS, DMD, DPT, DC), or within five years of concluding their training, including any residency or postdoctoral training, whichever is later.

Applications should be sent to the Editorial Office ([email protected]); please include (1) a brief cover letter (1 page max) that includes the title of your accepted manuscript and a description of its impact on the pain field, and (2) your Curriculum Vitae.

The application deadline is February 20, 2024.
