2024 International #HeadacheAcademy applications are due Monday, October 2

Help us find the best young neurologists interested in headache medicine in the U.S., Canada and Latin America for the 2024 International Headache Academy, being held January 25-27, 2024 at the UCLA Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center in Los Angeles, CA.

We are seeking PGY 3+ Residents, Headache Medicine Fellows, and MD and/or PhD clinicians or researchers currently enrolled or within five years of having completed their training to participate in the 2024 program. Previous participants of IHA are encouraged to apply should they meet candidate criteria as noted on the application form.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Participants will be introduced to multiple opportunities in the field of Headache Medicine, with the world’s leading experts providing hands-on instruction in the pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatment, and education of patients with migraine, cluster headache, and related primary headache disorders, as well as practical education in clinical trial methodology, biostatistics, and the preparation and publication of study results.

The program features formal conference sessions, participant-led debate, interactive case and top clinical/basic science paper discussions,  as well as networking opportunities to meet colleagues and headache medicine experts. Participants will also be eligible to earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits^™.

Through submission of an optional research proposal, accepted applicants may be eligible to receive a $10,000 grant to fund their research project. Those selected will be invited to present at the 67th Annual Scientific Meeting in 2025.

Accepted applicants will also receive a stipend up to $1,500 toward eligible travel expenses and a one-year AHS Trainee membership or extension of their existing Trainee membership.

All applications and supporting materials must be submitted no later than Monday, October 2, 2023.
