Invitation for Pre-Conference Workshop Proposals

Are you passionate about sharing your expertise and helping others grow? We'd like to invite you to submit a proposal for a half-day or full-day workshop in any area related to skill development or qualifications important for pain researchers. 

The upcoming USASP Annual Scientific Meeting will take place from April 14-17, 2024, in Seattle, Washington. The expected date of the pre-conference workshop is April 14th, 2024, before the main track of the conference that begins on Monday, April 15th.

We encourage proposals for highly interactive and collaborative workshops that focus on skill development and a lively discussion to foster new ideas and gather feedback. 

USASP is prepared to support pre-conference workshops by providing space at the conference venue and audiovisual equipment. Further details and planning coordination will be arranged closer to the event. In the event that external factors (COVID etc.) require that the conference be pivoted to a virtual platform entirely, then measures will be taken to allow participants to attend virtually. This applies also to workshops.

Please include the following details in your proposal (1-page maximum):

• Workshop Focus: Propose a workshop on skill enhancement, providing participants with actionable takeaways.

• Format: Workshops may range from interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities to group discussions and guided tutorials. Be creative in your approach!

• Duration: Workshops typically span half a day, allowing in-depth exploration of the chosen skill.

• Proposal Outline: Introduce your workshop idea, highlight its relevance, outline the learning objectives, and briefly describe the interactive components.
