ARI Recruiting (Applications due Nov 1, 2023)
Wednesday, November 01, 2023, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EDT
Category: Grants opportunities

Dear Colleagues,

ARI is recruiting new Scholars, and I’d appreciate your help.  ARI (Advanced Research Institute) is an long-standing, NIMH-funded (R25 MH 119050), national program that provides career mentoring and grant writing guidance to early career investigators conducting research related to Mental Health & Aging.  Scholars are typically preparing R01 (or equivalent) applications; the range of research spans the translational spectrum.

Please contact and/or forward this email to promising early career investigators whom you think are ready for ARI and would benefit from the program.

Information about ARI and its application procedures (due Nov 1, 2023) are on the ARI website (application information).

While ARI is a two year program, a key component is the Spring Retreat.  This year, the retreat will be April 17-20, 2024 at the Chauncey Hotel and Conference Center in Princeton, NJ (chaunceyconferencecenter.com/).

ARI’s newest outcomes are summarized in the American J. Geriatric Psychiatry (article).

And please have potential applicants contact Renee Pepin ([email protected]) or me ([email protected]) with questions about the program or their eligibility.

 Warm regards to you all,

    Marty

PS – as a reminder, ARI monthly Scholar Grand Rounds (1st Tuesday, 3:00 ET) and our Succeeding in Mental Health Research seminar (3rd Tuesday, 3:00 ET) are held by zoom and open to everyone; access information and recordings of previous talks are available on our website (seminars).
